This fantastical sculpture garden was started in 1978 by the artist Nicki de Saint Phalle, who having visited the Guell Park by Gaudi in Barcelona was inspired to one day create her own garden. The sculptures are based on the characters of the twenty two tarot cards and range from the monumental to smaller pieces. Virtually every surface is covered in ceramic, glass or mirrors, and there are unusual waterfalls and fountains throughout the garden.
The garden is open from the 1st April until 15th October 14.30 – 19.30 entrance fee applies; under 7’s free of charge.
January – March and November – December on the first Saturday of each month entrance is free of charge from 09.00 – 13.00
